Ministry of Labour & Home Affairs

MLHA is a GoB Ministry responsible for the provision of labour, immigration and citizenship services.
MLHA was implementing an Immigration & Citizenship System to cater for the processing of Permits, Visas, etc.

Local Enterprise Authority

LEA is a parastatal whose Mission is to promote and facilitate entrepreneurship and enterprise development in Botswana through targeted interventions.
LEA was implementing an Integrated Management Information System based on Oracle e-Business Suite, Business Intelligence, etc.

Botswana Railways

Botswana Railways is the national railway line carrier for both passenger and goods transportation.
BR was conducting a server refresh coupled with the implementation of a HA and Disaster Recovery Site in Gaborone to synchronise and failover with the Primary Site in Mahalapye (200km away).

Debswana

Debswana is a unique partnership between the Government of the Republic of Botswana and De Beers Centenary AG. The main purpose of the company is to mine, recover and sort diamonds.
Debswana was conducting a storage refresh coupled with the consolidation of its server environments at the Gaborone, Jwaneng Mine and Orapa Mine.

Dept. of Information Technology

Government of Botswana (GoB) wanted to enter into an Enterprise Agreement with Microsoft for the various Microsoft technologies and solutions deployed across all Ministries, District Councils and Land Boards.
The Dept. of Information Technology (DIT), as the ICT Advisor of GoB and custodian of GoB ICT infrastructure & Services has the mandate to advise, deploy and manage ICT deployments across Government of Botswana, hence was the prime mover in this endeavour.

Ministry of Education & Skills Development

Ministry of Education & Skills Development (MOE) wanted to enter into an Schools Agreement with Microsoft for the various Microsoft technologies and solutions deployed in all the schools (Primary & Secondary) across the country.
The MOE IT Unit, as the ICT Advisor of MOE and custodian of MOE ICT infrastructure & Services has the mandate to advise, deploy and manage ICT deployments in schools throughout the country, hence was the prime mover in this endeavour.

Konkola Copper Mines

KCM is a listed Copper Mining entity operating mining operations in Zambia, with its Head Office in Lusaka and mines in the Zambian Copperbelt
KCM was intending to engage a partner to provide managed services for its IT infrastructure deployed at HQ and at the mines.
